Giving Bridge helps authorized users connect donation records. Your organization remains responsible for its account permissions, donor matches, accounting decisions, and final records.
This agreement and the current pilot
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Martin Tech Consulting, operator of Giving Bridge (“we,” “us,” or “Giving Bridge”), and the person or organization using the Giving Bridge software and related services (“you”). It governs access to and use of the hosted application and these related service pages.
By accessing or using the service, you agree to this Agreement. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it and to use its connected accounts for this purpose. If you do not agree or lack that authority, do not use the service.
Giving Bridge is currently offered as a private pilot. Access is limited to authorized pilot users. Public registration and paid subscriptions are not open. Pilot features, availability, and operating procedures may change as the service is evaluated.
Limited license and permitted use
Subject to this Agreement and your continuing authorization, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the hosted Giving Bridge application for your organization’s internal donation-record and bookkeeping workflows.
The software is licensed for authorized use, not sold to you. We and our licensors retain rights in the software, website, design, and other service materials. This license does not give you rights to another organization’s workspace, credentials, or information.
You may not resell access, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, obtain data without authority, or use the service to violate applicable law or another provider’s terms. Nothing in this Agreement limits a right that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
Review and accounting responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing the source information and configuring the integration appropriately. This includes confirming donor identity, selecting the start date, mapping funds and accounting items, choosing payment methods and accounts, and checking for records already entered through another process.
Confirm that proposed transfers reflect the same real gifts and that the resulting records are correct in the destination. A name suggestion, a successful scan, or a connection status is not a substitute for that review. Reconcile uncertain submissions before retrying them.
Enable scheduled scanning or automatic posting only after the intended workflow has been verified. Such settings authorize the actions described in the workspace, subject to the service’s eligibility and review controls. An action already sent to a provider may complete even if you subsequently pause or disconnect the service.
Giving Bridge records gifts already received. It does not charge donors, initiate bank transfers, provide tax receipts independently of the connected providers, or provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Processing fees, bank payouts, refunds, and unsupported or ambiguous transactions require appropriate separate review.
Your information and privacy
You retain your rights in the records and other information you lawfully provide. You grant us permission to host, access, process, and transmit that information only as necessary to operate, support, secure, and provide the authorized service, comply with applicable law, and carry out your instructions as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the notices, consents, permissions, and other lawful authority needed to provide personal information and direct its use. Do not connect accounts or upload records that you are not authorized to use.
We do not collect or process information on Intuit’s behalf. We do not sell your connected-account information or use it for unrelated advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains the types of information handled, service providers, retention, and available requests.
Planning Center, Intuit, and other providers
Giving Bridge is independently operated. Planning Center, Intuit, QuickBooks, and our hosting or sign-in providers are separate services with their own terms, permissions, privacy practices, limitations, and availability.
You must comply with the terms that apply to your use of those services. This Agreement does not grant rights to a third-party product or modify your agreement with its provider. Third-party names are used to describe compatibility and do not represent endorsement or approval.
Those providers are not responsible for developing, maintaining, or supporting Giving Bridge. We cannot guarantee their availability, API behavior, continued permissions, or acceptance of any particular record. Provider changes or an expired or revoked authorization can interrupt the integration.
Charges and future subscriptions
The current internal pilot workspace does not require a Giving Bridge subscription payment. Your existing subscriptions or charges from Planning Center, Intuit, hosting providers, or other services remain your responsibility.
We will not enroll you in a paid Giving Bridge subscription through these public pages. If paid access is offered later, its price, billing interval, cancellation provisions, and any additional terms will be presented for your explicit acceptance before charging you.
Availability and limitations
The pilot is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular accounting outcome, or suitability for every organization’s requirements. The service may be paused for maintenance, security, provider issues, or pilot changes.
Maintain appropriate access to your original systems and records. Giving Bridge’s transfer history supplements your records; it is not a replacement for the source providers or your organization’s own accounting and retention practices.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes warranties, remedies, responsibilities, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation is subject to applicable law.
Disconnection, suspension, and termination
You can stop using Giving Bridge and disconnect connected accounts. The disconnect guide explains the workspace controls and the separate option of revoking authorization in a provider’s settings.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect information, investigate misuse, comply with law or provider requirements, or address a breach of this Agreement. We may end or change the private pilot with notice where practicable and legally required.
Ending access does not automatically reverse completed transfers or delete records already held by your organization or a provider. Retained workspace information and requests for export or deletion are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Contact support if you need to close a workspace or arrange a data request.
Provisions that by their nature should continue, including ownership, recordkeeping responsibilities, privacy-related obligations, and lawful limitations, continue after access ends.
Changes and interpretation
We may revise this Agreement as the service develops. The current version and revision date will be available on this page. We will provide any additional notice or obtain acceptance required by applicable law or the relevant provider before a material change applies.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. This Agreement does not create a partnership, employment relationship, agency, or endorsement between you, Giving Bridge, or a connected provider.
